Horse Country Drive
When we think about horses and horse country, Kentucky may spring to mind. However, there is a region of Michigan that is dedicated to horses from shows to hunts. What's more is this beautiful place isn't "way up north". It is just 45 minutes north of Detroit.
The
map shows just one of the scenic drives you can enjoy when visiting
Metamora, Michigan. This is a relatively short drive and can be
enjoyed in any season of the year. You will see wet lands, horse
farms, rolling hills and lots of beautiful countryside.
From downtown Metamora, Michigan, you drive east on Dryden Rd. until
you reach Barber Rd. Head south on Barber to Brocker Rd. At this
point you can turn right, West, on Brocker or continue south until
you reach Rock Valley Rd. and turn West there. Make your way west
until you reach Blood Rd. and head north again back into town.
