Skegemog Swamp Pathway

The Skegemog natural area includes five miles of trails and some boardwalks that wind through the Skegemog Swamp.
This is a beautiful wild walk through a swamp that is home to an amazing variety of plants, animals and insects.
The trail ends at an observation tower that overlooks the broad marsh.
The parking area for the pathway is north of M-72 on the Rapid River Road just a short drive west of Kalkaska, Mi.
As always, it should be noted that this is a wild area and you could get wet, muddy and insect bitten. Have fun.
